Website could do with some detail on who germantrack are. All I can find (not through the website) is that it's the trading name of Trackmarques Ltd which was incorporated in dec 07 and registered to a domestic address nr Cambridge. A bit more 'comfort' would be usefulBooking can be made here http://www.germantrack.com/

A search at companies house doesn't help either - there's no directors listed for the company. This could be an admin oversight on the part of co-house I suppose - with it being a new company.I wish them luck whoever it is - it's hard enough trying to organise a viable track day as it is without limiting your market further by restricting to particular marques. That said, maybe there's a niche (within a niche!) there that's currently un-tapped. Not sure these guys are going to offer anything that BMWCC and PCGB don't already do very well though.

I heard about it through 911UK.com. They said, although a new company, the guy who runs it used to run a successful track day company, I guess there website will fill up with a bit more detail soon?
Lots of the serious track dayers at 911uk are going to this, so I am guessing they know its going to be good
Cya there if anyone here is going

Welcome to Germantrack, the UK's first circuit club created exclusively for like-minded track day enthusiasts with a passion for German cars – from Audi and BMW, to Porsche, MINI Mercedes and VW. If the names Quattro, M-Power, Cooper, AMG, GT-3, RS and GTi get your pulse racing, then Germantrack events are for you.
Germantrack's exciting events, held at the UK's leading race circuits, are designed to bring together experienced and novice track day users, in a friendly and safe environment.
Our "open pit lane" format allows you to go out on track when you – and your car – are ready, so you aren't rushed into driving in awkward time slots. We want our Germantrack members to feel relaxed enough to take their time, and enjoy their special day at their own pace; making the most of lapping top tracks with fellow German car enthusiasts.
And, with FREE first class driver training, event support, media snapper Dave Woodall taking top drawer circuit images and major manufacturer and media support, Germantrack offers an action-packed, fun-filled track day for German car fans, at an affordable price.
The idea for the company came about after doing many track days over the years. Be this while working for Various Car Magazines or with my own cars.I do feel that we will be offering something different to PCGB and the BMWCC. As having worked for various Porsche magazines and also BMW Magazines through out the last few years i know what they offer and also what they don't .
As a previous poster said a niche within a niche could be possible.
If anyone has any questions please fele free to call the numbers on the web site between 08.00 and 20.00
Regards

I (a professional racing driver of no little renown) need to use Mr Porches very expensivest car to beat a fat middle-aged amateur in a Radical worth about £8k!

You're on!

Hi may i ask what 'Comfort' you would like and i will see what i can do.Many companies in this day and age trade from domestic address, i do not see that as a problem it just saves traveling to work every day, and renting a office space which is a unnecessary extra cost.
Sure. My comments were predominantly observational. Personally speaking, I prefer to see a geographical landline number (difficult, I know, when operators probably also have a 'day job'), address and LtdCo name / VAT Reg details when buying over the net. I've no issues with operating from a domestic address, I do likewise, I was just stating the info. that I was able to find from Companies House / Creditgate. As someone else stated, there were no Directors listed which was a bit odd - -but presumably a Companies House issue. Would it be worth joining the ATDO and putting that logo on the website - but I don't know how well regarded the ATDO is or what teeth it really has.Good Luck with the venture.

Hi Juliann.
we as of this morning now have a land line, and many thanks to ntl for the four week delay
it is 0845-234-0790 between 08-00 and 20-00 or my mobile 07977-253-065.
I do have another job as well www.davewoodall.com ( i know the site is down ) thanks to all who have called
and this month i have shot the cover for Total Bmw Magazine, Total 911 magazine and also have features in both magazines and also Performance Tuner Magazine, so i will not be doing a runner with your money, dont worry about that. The paperwork will be with the ATDO's before the first event however the day will be fully covered by another policy to the tune of £10 Million liability. There are some advantages to the ATDO in that some Car Clubs and insurance Policys give you free track cover when you are a full member, however until you are a full member you cant display there logo
untill 6 events or 12 months have passed.
Hopefull we will see you in the BMW one day
Regards
Dave

Hi guys,
Great that you are the first - hopefully of many more - MINIs to book on this eclectic, exciting new event.
Lohen and GGR may also be sending down some of their demo cars.
And, being one of the organisers of Germantrack and a motoring journalist, I will be bringing down a John Cooper Works MINI Cooper S for some hot laps. Might be able to get you out with one of our top tutors for a hot lap, if all goes to plan...
Modern MINI will also be there, along with Total 911, GT Purely Porsche, Performance Tuner, Redline, VW Driver, Mercedes Enthusiasts, Total BMW, Golf Plus and PPC magazines; so its an ideal opportunity to get your car featured in a magazine, as well as have a cracking track day.
Spread the word in MINI land... and other German performance cars eh?
