Is it me or does there seem to be a lack of MSV dates at Oulton Park in March (like none), unless they are just about to announce a few. Also only seems to be one a month after

Hi Phil,
For ref, Got the following response from MSV: -
PS Just provisionally booked Oulton park through easytrack on the 29th of Feb, Thanks for letting me know.

Oulton Park has been very popular in the early part of 2008 for exclusive bookings. Quite a lot of days are full of testing and exclusive manufacturer events that have impacted on the amount of days we can run. Couple that with the planning restrictions only allowing us to run 4 out of 5 days a week, and we are probably looking at less dates being available for MSV track days compared to last year.
There are a couple of other provisional dates in the pipeline that will hopefully be confirmed within the next couple of weeks. These will be added to the online track day calendar in due course if confirmed.
I apologise if there are not any suitable dates for you just at the minute, but please keep checking back to our website for updates

I have only been on a couple of novice days to date (2 & 1/2), and I didn't know about easytrack. Impressed with Easytrack's web and the flexibilty for bookings so far.
The easytrack isn't a novice day on the 29th, but I suspose you can't be a novice for ever.
See there is a lot more cars though! 70 compared to 40 or so on the MSV novice days.
Just have to wait for a lull, I guess they only let so many out at once anyway.
Can't wait for the 29th, hope the weather is like today

I did my first track day at oulton last year, it was an easytrack day and an experienced / open pitlane format. Although it was my first time out i was able to go at my own pace. I found that the marshalls are a very good and will let you know if you are holding anyone up or visa versa. The thing to remember is that there so many different cars on the track that some are going to be faster than others.

Anyway, what i was meant to say was. There are loads of sites on the net that list all the trackdays in the UK, search these and im sure you will find more.

Cheers
