Any PH'ers playing at Colerne this Saturday with MSE?

Looks like it might be a wet and windy one!

Do they have Noise measuring at the track? If so I might pop down and see if I can get my car tested before I book a trackday....

Yes mate, they do. pop on down im sure they will do it for you. Last year i went along to see if i could get my ferrari on there. the guy tested it to 130db at that point he jumped back and grabbed his ears. Needless to say i wasnt allowed on but the caterham should be fine.evil

Nice to meet some of you at Colerne today, was certainly a lot of fun out there especially for us in quick, light cars with no roofs or windscreens wink

Good value day as always with MSE.

Had a great day, met some really nice people and accidently got my friends hooked on trackdays now. it was their first time and Andy driving the Elise is booked for goowood in April and Tom who only came to spectate is on the look out for an early elise to play with once he sells his motorbike(his life long love i might add).

Miles thanks for the play in your Honda Elise, it was a real blast, flames and all.
Abingdon is a bit far for me and i have 2 trackdays booked for April already but Keevil or colerne later in the year will be good.

Anytime you fancy a play in the 7 the keys are yours.

Drop me an email if you're going to book another mse day and I'll hopefully see you there!

Good luck with the racing by the way smile

I pitched up in a red Esprit, mainly to be noise tested.
103.5db so getting on was a non starter but I'm investing in a silencer from ACT so look forward to future events.

Is it ever sunny at Colerne? I've been there twice and it's chucked it down on both occassions, certainly made for a fun day though!

saves on tyres and brakes too I suppose.

dry days are faster but I learnt more in the rain at Silverstone than any other track day.
