.. any discount for cash?..How does the day pan out? What's the shedule? ...Alan.
Hi chaps, I'm planning on this track day to be my first outing on a circuit for a LONG time!
Just thought I'd try and befriend you all now in case you get thoroughly pissed off with me holding you up on the track!
Would be good to meet some PHers.
BTW - spoke to the organisers who said they've NEVER had rain at any of their Pembrey track days... they must be talking about a different Pembrey surely???!!!

Yeah quite but... Bloody hell talk about tempting fate!!!
- and Im just about to fit my set of R888s so Im really counting on dry conditions.....
Perhaps all the PHers should have some sign to help us identify eachother?? I know PH has its regalia and stickers etc but I dont have any. Suggestions? (carnation in button-hole perhaps.... err.. maybe not)
Good idea but extreme care not to allow it to descend into the 'VeeDub' thumb and pinkie sticking up gnarly dude stuff!!!
I reckon these are our best bet and we also could do with them made as embroidered patches to put on race suits/jackets/fleeces etc so we can recognise each other on those rare occassions when we are seperated from our cars? - How about it Mr Garlick?

I'm praying for dry. Just come back from trip to Nurburgring on R888's and it was wet the whole time - no fun at all

Oh and mines a blue cerb with a PH sticker on rear screen, come and say hello.
Yup Im set, well booked my slot today. Still hoping it'll be dry, got the R888s on now and what a quantum leap in grip! (well in the dry at least). Theres a large cyclonic weather system out in the atlanic mid week and I hoping this isnt going to bu**er up the w/e
Look forward to meeting up with you all at the circuit. FYI Mines a dark met blue (Tahiti blue) Chim 450, T4 VRR, with 17/18 inch wheels and circular white competition number backgrounds on the doors.

Yup at present the forecast from the met office / avaition and general is for showers on sunday
On the plus side - if the rain is broken - the surface at pembrey (which is partially porous and self draining)drys remarkably quickly plus the costal location usually means that there is a breeze to speed up drying. So if there are some windows in the weather there should be some dry running although the surface may be a bit green. Fingers crossed that we're not all "crossed up" on Sunday!
