Anyone been to Woodbridge for a trackday? I prefer 'proper' tracks to airfields but I also like going to new places. It looks good value too but I've no idea what it's like. Can anyone give their experience? TIA

Very good fun, grippy(destroys track tyres and road ones come to mention it).
Lots of stones flinging around in the morning, although ive heard they have invested in a road sweeper machine.
Very safe....nothing to hit.
A good laugh,usually open pit.
They alter the cicuit often but it can be very interesting.
I would check on the sweeper situation if you have a mint/modern car.
Try youtube....Woodbridge trackday.

Cheers Dan, looks like a good laugh and the price is good too. I'm going to book it. The car's a track toy so chips don't worry me - I'm just looking for a good place to slide around!

Woodbridge is your place then! Javelin are pretty good organisers & pretty lenient. It's a good day out.

One thing to bear in mind is that the ground just off the track can be very soft. Was there last year when someone rolled because they put a couple of wheels in the dirt while sliding sideways.

Good fun track though.
