I loved my parents, or did, up and to the day I arranged a tuition day with Sean Edwards. Booked day with track car (shared BMW) & GT3 which was split with between morning (track car) and afternoon (GT3) First idea that things were changing was when my friend and no bad driver, with whom I share track car with, left car with a grin bigger than a cheshire cat after being taken around snetterton (29th April) by Sean. My turn in track car and ditto. Afternoon, friend used new found knowledge to use & abuse track car whilst I settled into GT3 with my now apparent thought that I had only, ever, used car at 70% if I am being honest. OMG, when Sean came to "show me" what the car was actually capable of did the plan start to hatch. How he changed my driving style and use of gears, brakes and confidence in the car, so much so that I recognised that I was an embittered person. I took my driving test at 27, very late I know but my career was at sea from an earlyish age but this is no excuse, or should it be used by my parents. My day on track ended just before 5pm after an eventful battle with a Suburu with 550bhp, who did not believe my car was standard, who, if you pick this thread up, that was great fun.

I left the circuit thinking how Sean had said he sat on his fathers lap in a car at 4 years of age and got hooked. Why had my Dad not done that? Why had they not taken me karting, feeding my other brothers and sisters cannot be an excuse so for that they had to pay. As I left my parents house, their lives slowly being drained of life, I felt no guilt, why should I, all I wanted was to be able to drive my cars to their limits and satisfy my "need for speed" and, least of all BE PAID FOR IT and drive some of the best cars in the world. If they had only......................was it selfishness on their part, I will never know now BUT is Sean Edwards guilty of murder by association, YES!

Sean, great day thanks VM, gun in post! R

It'a mad what he can get out of a car, isn't it.

Glad to hear you've now found out what the car and a human being (well he is mortal, just) can do!!

Love to pax ride in your GT3(mkII on th list of must haves)if we ever meet, and you can have a go in the Ult if you want?

Let me know what track days you are doing, I watched your vid at snetterton with sean, shame about fuel, looked interesting chase with the cup car. Yes, "boy" stig is V good, what piXXes me off even more is age and income, hence dead parents! Will go to PH meet 15th May, planned track day brands & cadwell with spa a must do this year so keep in touch. R

None planned as yet, engine out for a 600bhp upgrade and dry sumping. But come June, I'll want to do Snetterton, Brands GP.

Yep, will speak later.

Cheers mate

Main one is you pay me double for tuition lmao biggrinwink

Different style of driving mate... All the weight is behind the rear axle, so it doesn't handle like anything else. When you get it, we can do a day and get you upto speed with it. You can use some of the techniques from the Ultima, but there are quite a few new ones to do.
