That's almost as funny as the results of clicking on 'All Firefox' on that link. BEST. CAR. EVER!

I thought the Fire Fox's were going pretty well on the day. May not be a pretty car but they make good use of donar parts and provide cheap motoring. They use the sub frames off of the Metro - its quie a clever idea.

Jiberingloon - think my dad had quite a chat with you about your car. I have always fancied a mx5 turbo but funds wont allow without selling my kit - and thats not going to happen for a few years yet.

I had a quality day, I was slow as sh!t to start with but after some instruction I was getting quicker and quicker through the day. I had the instructor take me out in my car which was an experience. It was good see what my car was capable of when in the hands of someone who know what they are doing. He described my car as chronic oversteer, its currently in the garage having the suspension set up now to hopefully remedy this :-)

Cant wait for the next trackday!!!!
Cheers
Andy

To be fair the Firefox does go rather quick, but aas you say its not pretty!

The Mazda is a good little toy for playing on track, but with a Supercharger and Slick its very good and will happily keep up with some Westfields and Cartherham and Merlins.

Oh.... and destroy lots of TVR's...... hehehhe. But maybe the TVR boys were being very mechanically simpathetic!

Track days are all about experimenting and enjoyment of the trill of driving fast. It doesnt matter what car you use...

We proved that with a 1.6 Intergra with Slicks!
