track days/karting for teens

I've promised to cough up if mini me does well in his exams this year (GCSEs, he's 16) and thought about sending him on a track day or karting experience. Has anyone got any ideas whether there are any available for kids? We've done quite a bit of karting before (only the fun stuff) but think he'd probably enjoy something more intense - either some proper racing craft from a pro or, better still, a track experience/instruction day, in cars, on a circuit. Any ideas appreciated.
