Lydden Hill Bank Holiday Saturday 23 August
Discussion
One of the bargains of the summer, full day (with a break for lunch) open pit lane and only £130.
I went last year and there were never more than 6 or 7 cars on the track at any one time. A really good opportunity for novices to have a go and the more experienced to hone their skills.
See linky here.
Anybody else going and what will you be driving?

According to the bumpf I got for the above track day, no passengers are allowed unless it's their approved instructor.
Oh, and I think it is sessioned - the one I went to earlier this year certainly was, which was a good thing IMHO as there were a number of racing teams testing their cars. Being a novice trackday driver, I really wouldn't want to be on the track at the same time as these guys!
Other than that I really rate it, it's a good track especially if you're in an underpowered shed like my MX5.

I went there in June:
A
- no passengers
- overtaking either side, without invitation
- sessioned: novice, intermediate, fast groups
- free instruction; as said there instructors are the only peeps allowed in the car with you. Great guys, 'go faster!', 'don't brake yet!'
