I'm going with a few mates and between us there should be a;

Corrado VR6
Caterham Roadsport
Exige Club Racer
Evo X?

I'm looking forward to it as it's my first time but would be great to meet any of you guys down there if you're going.

Cheers for that. I'll check out their website. Have you done days with them before? I've only done Book-a-track at Elvington before which was excellent, but it does depend on how the circuit is laid out.

Any info on Javelin trackdays well recieved! Cheers.

I've no info I'm afraid as it's my first ever trackday. I reckon I'll have fun however it's laid out!

i would contact the organiser first as if they get a full allocation of cars they may turn you away,doubtful but possible

I'd not be making it down for that event, but I'd like to be ready to go to any events there in the future without running around wondering what I need at the last minute

I'll be there old boy, but then I think you already knew that... ;-)

These track day organisers seem pretty cool, as my licence is with the DVLA at the moment, but they will accept a photocopy (or a call to the premium rate line) on the day.

I will, but as the forecast is dry, I expect high wear rates.

me & our Matt had too jack in early due to a cracked exhaust manifold

our Matt will soon sort it.....he's pretty good with a welder

also had probs with fuel starvation & low oil....easy solved with more petrol & oil

we did get plenty of laps in before leaving though

next Elvington trackday we go to we should have the mk1 Golf up & running

I had a chat with the guy in the Corrado VR6, it was his first ever track day but he was really enjoying himself. My first time at Elvington and I really enjoyed it, had a chat with a few others, but as always, you plan to speak to people but on the day spend more time lapping
