novice track day meetings

Any novices out there fancy meeting up and doing a track day in the near future ???????
I am new to the track day thing so thought i`d ask

FWIW my opinion is that novices should attend "normal" track days. It's got to be much better to have people who are comfortable on track watching out for you as you venture out for the first time?

novices should stick to Novices track days and stay away from me please.

seriously though if i was a novice again (some would argue i drive like one still) i would NOT go to novice days as i would prefer guys around me with some track experience

thanks guys. i do have 2 days under my belt but still class myself as novice for obvious reasons.
Just thought it might be a way of meeting some similar standard people.

When my 106 GTI is on the road I will either be doing a few track days in that or on the Kawasaki when the weathers better. Personally I will be going for a normal track day as I'd like the people around me to have a vague idea what they're doing. On the bike day I will be entering into the novice group but then there's always a few instructors and people to ask any questions in the paddock.
