That's bloody good value!
Just rang one of my mates who spent 5 mins cursing me 'cause he REALLY wants to go but hasn't quite got the spondoolicks....yet!
Last went a few weeks ago and it was mobbed. Constant closures as well due to bike/car coming togethers.
I'm really gonna make the effort to get the cash together for this.
Cheers, Chris.

No you don't have to pay for individual laps. It's free open lapping all day, with open pit lane
I would imagine you will get to do the full straight too, but you would need to confirm that with Chris from Circuit days.
If anyone books could they please say they did it through Gary from Northloop.
Thanks

It's really tempting, but my record at the 'Ring this year is 0 laps out of 2 trips.
1st time the alternator failed at Dover.
2nd time, after driving over 1000 miles from Liverpool and around the area on the Friday & Saturday, I had an ignition fault which meant the car wouldn't rev past 3000-3500rpm, so drove home at a max of 70mph.
I'm systematically working through the whole car and won't be going back until I'm sure it's mechanically & electronically A1 - the only problem is finding time to get the repairs done as until September it was my daily driver doing 600 miles a week, and now I'm in Dubai until the end of November.

Do you need snow tyres or chains for that time of the year, or will 'normal' tyres be fine
Snow's unlikely that time of year. Went last December and it was fine, didn't even rain.

Iam really up for this, its not often you get to go round the ring without lots of traffic and bikes..... but having been before in November only to find about 3 inches of snow on the ground and a snowman on the start finish straight iam very dubious about wasting all that money!!!
Hmmm, wonder if they refund if shut due to snow?I guess you could check the ringcam before you set off and not bother if the tracks covered in snow.

The last time the weather caused closure Chris gave credits to all those who had travelled across. At least i'm pretty sure that was the case.
Indeed he did - and I'm still using my credit to pay for track days this year - so they're "free", according to my Man-Maths!Gassing Station | Track Days | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
