Anyone else going? A group of us are heading out in 5 cars for Easter. Keeping fingers crossed for no snow this time however!

Yes, I'll be there.

As you say, let's hope it's not like this:

All I remember is that once the track was cleared, they'd used so much salt, the track was actually slippery from the salt itself!

Really looking forward to this year.

It was a bit slippery yes. And minus 3-5 degrees even in the sun on Sunday afternoon but at least it opened. And the GP circuit opening was a result too.

Staying at Am Tiergarten again.

Wish I was, went last weekend however and they opened track after a morning of serious fog and it was ace, no cars, not one bike.

Stayed at Tiertgarden and had Carbonara 3 night in a row in Pistenklause, not that you needed to know that..

Wonderful. That's exacly what it was like last Easter on Sunday after the snow finally cleared. No bikes and barely any cars.

just got back from 6 days there and was excellent, weather was almost a little too hot at times, soo much better than last year... far too busy on friday though, the track seemed shut more than open. saturday and sunday were ok. managed a pretty respectable time too, but need bigger brakes next year.

I second that, my forehead is still peeling, lol. Friday was mayhem, it's best to get to the track when it opens at 8am, isn't too bad then, after 10am its pure chaos. Disappointed with Monday, was hoping for a couple of laps before setting off for the ferry, but too dangerous due to fog. Overall though, the 'Grune Holle' is well worth the trip. Can't wait till next time.
