Are Michelin sport cup tyres any good

Would these tyres be better on a heavy car 1800kg (my holden ute) I've been using 888's, good grip wet and dry but go off to quick. I don't care if the Michelins are no good in the wet as I will still have my 888's and a very large boot
I would just like to stay out on track for more than 4 or 5 laps at a time. Thanks Ferb
R888's are much better for cars 1 tonne and under really. As you say, they go off very quickly on heavier cars. Michelin PSC's would be much better suited for your car, (not from personal experience but logic) seeing as they came on CSL's (1500ish kg?) from the BM factory they are obviously much better suited.
However, they are very expensive, hense why literally no CSL owners run them these days. I am not sure but there may be a cheaper and better option out there.
