Anyone doing spa this year??

I quite fancy doing a 2 day event at spa this year with the r500 that i pick up in a couple of weeks. I've never been before though and don't really enjoy driving on the wrong side of the road that much, So i was wondering if anyone else is booked up and maybe i could book up and follow you over?

RMA has a 2 day at SPA in mid July (13-14). They have also just added a day at the Ring on Sunday July 12 if you want to do the grand slam

I'm doing it twice this year.. 4 days of SPA! oh yes!

RMA and Autotrack.

The biggest PITA about caterhams and going to spa/ring is the number of times you have to stop for fuel!

The June days are also the LOT days so I am guessing there will be a fair few caterhams going over. Proper opportunity for a convoy.

Goldtrack have a two dayer, 29th and 30th June. We are doing the ring on the afternoon of the 29th then overnighting in Spa to do the 30th there.

We might see you going in the other direction, we're doing SPA on the 29th and heading towards the ring on the 30th.

I'd be tempted with the autotrack day. I see from there website that it is a 2 dayer. Will you be doing both days or just the 15th? I was thinking of trailering the caterham over but i've just looked at the tunnel charges and it's a bit pricey with the trailer, So i guess i'd drive it. Do Autotrack sort out the accomodation? If so is it secure?


ps i'd be up for meeting anyone at dover for the drive over.

I'm going over Saturday to do the Nurburgring. It's an easy trip I'm sure you be fine.

I'm just doing 15 June, as mentioned above at The Ring the Sat pm and Sunday, then on to Spa for the Monday, if my car is till healthy and there is space I might do the Tuesday too.

I'm just doing the Monday. Driving over on Sunday and back Tuesday. Staying at the Radisson a few miles from the track.

Would be up for a convoy, not worried about the drive, would just rather have some decent cars to look at as it's a pretty dull drive.
