Just heard there are some places still available for Brands Hatch Indy on Monday. MSV Open pit lane; http://www.motorsportvision.co.uk/trackdays/event-...
As Track & Race Cars magazine is headlining this MSV day, there are some additional goodies - Free Autoglym shampoo and polish, Free magazine of course, Caterham Cars new Duratec R300 and R500 for demo laps, plus the Cam Auto Developments wild Metro 6R4, MK’s Indy race car and Free Set-up advice from Lunar-Motorsport.

Yes and no. As it's an MSV track day all levels of ability will be in attendance, likewise with the cars - 6 Ariel Atom's and a fair few Caterham's will no doubt will be pretty quick, whereas a mobile chicane in the shape of the magazines Lancia Fulvia 1.3S classic race car will keep it real (we'll be running it in and testing/making adjustments to its new carbs during the day).
Oh cock - we really WILL be getting in the way then! I am coming in a shared Pug 306 gti 6, not driven Brands yet, nor the Pug on track as we only picked it up last month!
I will be very green (most days I have done have been in Caterhams) with all the sevens that are going to be there.

Will be there tomorrow giving a mate a bit of advice/instruction in his black 205 GTI.
Looking forward to it, especially as there will be some good/safe/advanced drivers on track. Hopefully won't be full of young wannabe street racers like the cheap MSV Brands days seem to attract.
See you all tomorrow.

Had a great day, weather superb, big thanks to T&RC mag for a pleasurable day, driving stds where sketchy i thought ? and i have now decided my car just hates Soft compound tyres in the heat !
Martin, Blue BMW E36
I had a great day, for my first trackday I was surprised at how many offs there were and surprised that that some people didn't seem to stick to the rules as far as overtaking was concerned, but I had a great day Martin, Blue BMW E36
Also quite puzzled at how the fella in the black porsche 928(?) managed to overcook it quite so heavily that he cleared one of the largest gravel traps on the circuit and binned it into the tyre wall- didn't seem to me to be a high risk part of the circuit?
Q, Silver 996tt (possible displaying some of the aforementioned low driving stds)

^^^Hello Martin, sorry I did not get up to see you yesterday, my wife has just got back from a two week break and I am busily trying to get my own e36 ready for some fervered activity this week end so spare time has been a little scarce
I have BH booked for the evening of the 10.8.09 and a whole day on the 19.11.09 which will be the last track day of the year for me so maybe we can catch up then (if the M3 is still in one piece that is
)

)There appears to be a little bit of confusion here between day and evening - the Track & Race Cars Magazine MSV trackday started at 9am and closed at 5pm - the evening track day however was a Performance Car magazine titled event, one where it appears that there were crashes, dodgy driving standards, etc.
