Track day academy
Discussion
I am looking for a track day experience with a selection of cars
Everyone seems to offer either tuition in one specific car
or a selection of cars but as experience.
What I am after is to try a few different cars like an elise (required), m3, impreza or something else in that category but with tuition on how to best enter a corner, how to exit, sliding control etc.
Does such thing exist?
Please don't recommend just an experience gift voucher or a tutor with one car. I am not looking for those I am sepcifically after tuition and more than one car, one of them must be elise or exige (or a vx220).
Basically we are looking to go halves on a track day car up to £10k and want to try cars that would suit the budget as well as learn to actually drive them well.
Thanks

ah yes that has been recommended already, but their only suitable date is all the way out in september...Apart from Car Limits, I can't think of an "academy" that would offer that kind of service.
Second option would be to go on track days with friends who have cars in your list, and ask if you can take their cars out with an instructor for a 15-20 min session. Driving instruction is available on most track days with ARDS instructors for around £1 a minute...not bad value as they'll teach you the things you mentioned - braking points, weight transfer, corner entry & exit etc.

It would be worth giving CAT Driver Training (http://www.catdrivertraining.co.uk/) a call to discuss your requirements - they have a selection of cars (Elise, Impreza and Caterham, all track-prepped) and offer tuition. You will have to ask about the possibility of using multiple cars, as I am not sure that they offer this normally.

Just had a chat with them and it's looking very very very very very good!HTH
thanks for that theturbs!
You could also try speaking to Steve at Track-club, they have a varied range of cars.
Including: elise, caterham, exige, 2-eleven, M3, JP1, clio etc but no scumbaru`s!!
Their taster days sound very similar to what you have described, where you try out a selection of their cars, with an instructor onboard, to help get the best out of them.
