It's run by Motorsport Events but the 19th June Abingdon event is now fully booked.

What a good day! Lots of fun, think R888's have proved to be the final piece in making the MX5 really handle nicely smile

Were quite a few people who seemed to be blind to the blue flags that got a little irritating in the morning, i'm talking every bend for 5 or 6 laps they got waved and just ignored them (not Simon if your reading this, we were lapping the same speeds so you were right not to pull over).

On the whole a big thumbs up again though thumbup I do like that layout Abingdon track smile

Yep, I have caught the sun today too. Got some good pictures of that final corner, and was great to meet a few interesting people. Sorry I didn't get to see the OP, but his MX5 was storming past me a few times...

I know what you mean about the flags, several had a problem seeing the red flag too! Apparently it means "one more lap" to some people.

I had a really good day out too biggrin I really hope I was not one of the people who didnt see the flags!
I was quite pleasantly susprised about my little mx5! No probs with the car at all. It was not too bad considering it has the power of a milkfloat! Great fun was had all day. And excellent weather toohehe

Does anyone have any pics of the day? Or my car? (red mx5)
There was an official photographer there I think. Does anyone know where to get his photos from?

I also took my camera and forgot to get it out all day frown One of my friends there did take his camera though and was taking quite a few pics so I'll ask him to send me them and i'll post them up smile

Sorry, none of the Red MX-5, but one of HR's, and a few others, including the Gulf liveried Westie.

Totally agree that it was a great day, and excellent weather for it too! It was my first time at Abingdon, and I'm already itching to go back and figure out the back two chicanes!
