A bit late in the day but yes, I will be there in my trusty old track dog Spot II, a 1994 M3 in Avus blue. It is a bit twee I know but the car has GTWAYNE on the rear side windows so by all means, come and say hello yes
I am going for a days tuition with Mike Cooper, my chosen instructor. I had a day at Donington with him last year and am ready to learn the next several steps.

Busiest TD I have yet attended, Mike and I counted 34 cars on track whilst having a break. I enjoyed the track and certain parts were great ( typically the ones I did well on wink ), but isn't that always the way? yes It started to rain at about 1100hrs and I went out to gauge the situation but was getting wheel spin on the straights with power applied in 3rd and 4th so elected to go home as it looked like the rain was there to stay and I did not feel that it would be productive or possible to learn anything worthwhile.
I got to the A34 Oxford turn off on the M40 by about 1415hrs and the weather was bright and dry but that's the way the cookie crumbles I guess. I have done over a dozen track days over the past few years and this is the first time I have experienced rain so I have done well I reckon; Upward and onward, Goodwood on the 3.7.09, can't wait ( hope the weather holds )

Was certainly a VERY busy day! I think their were 60 cars, which to me was too many. I spent so much time queuing behind cars on track that it was just annoying!!

When the rain came though it certainly cleared things and I got plenty of track time. Although I'm not sure this would of happened if it hadn't rained and it could of been a very annoying day!

It cleared up again about 3pm and the track dried quickly, shame you left!

If anybody hasn't done Silverstone south then it's definitely worth a go!

So many cars?
Probably why Circuit days has pumped the price up from 120'ish to 179... or perhaps Silverstone needs to raise the cash for it's F1 bid and so has raised the price to the Organisers.

Anyhow Silverstone South is a great track. Nice for cars of all HP levels
