When are next year's Ring Open Dates Announced?

Considering a trip next easter, and would like to book as early as possible. When are the dates normally released?

Provisional track opening dates for the first quarter are usually made public around December. If you want to book this far in advance (if anywhere will take a booking this far in advance) then it would probably be safe to assume that it'll be open for the whole of Easter weekend. The dates for Easter next year you can get from most calendars.

Also bear in mind when planning that they have a fairly alarming tendency to change/cancel public days at fairly short notice - particularly early in the year as there is only a narrow window when track maintenance can take place between the winter freeze and the start of the racing season.

In my brief experience, the later in the year you are, the more stable the dates are, which is why long term planning can be somewhat hit and miss until you are well into the year that you plan to be there.

True that they're always open for the long Easter weekend. Also true that that weekend tends to be amongst the busiest and most tedious and frustrating.

Apart from this year that is. I managed 30 laps on the Saturday in an RSR Alfa 75 (cage, sticky tyres etc). It was beautifully quiet.
