So we've tried out karting a few times and want to take it one step further.... Track Days!

None of our group is keen on taking theit P&J on track though, so I'm interested in finding the options available for us to do a Track day inc hiring one vehicle.
There are 4 in the group if it makes any difference.
Any opinions??

Secondly, I've squeezed a couple of hundred quid unexpectedly from monthly bills and think it would be nice to purchase a small car to strip and upgrade with time to Track in.
Any ideas where I should look to spend the money?

Criteria :
Small, so i can garage it easily
Handles well
Room/scope for upgrading
<£300

It's now open to you guys!

the 3 most highly recommended options are (in no particular order :-)

1) http://bookatrack.com/-pb_Track-Car-Hire?54

2) http://www.track-club.com/arriveDrive.aspx

3) http://www.topcatsracing.com/drive_our_race_cars.h...

Each have their own strengths and weaknesses - suggest you speak to all 3 before making a decision.

Or just visit www.bookatrack.com and book one of our caterhams, knowing you've saved the hassle and time on the phone and have still got the best deal :-)

+1 for BaT's Caterham Superlights.

Took one out last night at Donington GP - worked out about £230 (each) for two of us using the Caterham Superlight from 5.30 'til 8.30. Fantastic fun, reasonably priced and plenty of track time smile
