Anyone done one of the Evo track evenings before?

Ok, booked!
The online booking has finished, but there are still a few spaces available over the phone it seems.
I'll be the numpty teetering round in the blue Caterham. Finally got round to booking some instruction so hopefully that'll improve things somewhat, but it is first time out in the new car. God knows how I'm going to hear them though with the windnoise and a full face helmet!

Great, see you there! I'll be the one teetering round in the R26. It's not new, so I can't use that excuse...
Any chance of a ride? I'd love a Caterham!
Definitely - come over and say hi (mine's an ex-racer so you can spot it by the 'lived in' look in case there are a couple). Only got it last week and I'm already a convert.

Mine passes the drive-by and static normally, but it pops on the gearchange or overrun. Normally there are monitors between turn 1 and 2 and about a third of the way along the straight that runs behind the pits. Look out for them on your first out-lap! I have to time gearchanges to avoid this.

See you all there .... black TVR Sagaris.
Any chance of a ride mister? I can understand you being apprehensive about noise. At the last track day I went to only one TVR legitimately passed the noise test. Everbody was bolting additional silencers on left, right and centre.
I'm slightly worried about the Seven even - part of the reason I bought it (having come from an older TVR) was I thought it'd get through the noise test everywhere, but the induction noise is pretty demonic when it gets going.

ETA: Is there somewhere reasonably safe to leave a few bits'n'bobs at Bedford? Is there a good chance of getting a garage for example?

There is a large shared garage area in the pit lane so should be no probs.Edited by Chris71 on Wednesday 8th July 11:08
