Hi, I was there in my Red S1 Elise. Driing standard was very high and despite the very slippery conditions there were very few offs.
I was there all day instructing in the Audi R8, with 13 customers to look after, most with little or no experience. So apologies if we did hold anyone up for a corner ......... some couldn't co-ordinate there right foot when moving over to the right to allow someone past, hence the reason why some may have struggled to pass occasionally. The only complaint I had was about the Porsche Cup car with the Parr Motorsport team, who assumed he had a private test day, with a track full of nuisances getting in his way!Yes, I was there working with the same group as H (ginettajoe), except I drew the short straw and was in the Caterham (Roadsport - white with red mudguards. I drove it on few occasions, so it might have confused some other participants - slow one minute, fast (ish) the next - anyone who has driven a Caterham will know, they struggle for grip in the wet. So to add to ginettajoe's sentiments, sorry if we got in anyone's way. The only two I held up when I was driving were the blue TDi FunCup car, which had much more wet grip from its Uniroyal rain tyres than the Caterham had, but less straight line speed; and the white Integra, which seemed to have better straight line speed but was a bit slower through the corners. The Caterham was on a kninfe-edge in the wet! On the whole not a bad day though!

I was there with Howard & Tim - nice to get a free trackday, and even better, free tuition
I was very impressed by the R8, much more grippy & composed in the wet than I expected, even with me driving! but the caterham was much more fun
- just a shame I couldn't get more laps in. The ferrari 360 was horrible - very unnerving, when you turn in you got understeer in the wet & a lurch to oversteer in the dry
I would have been much faster in that Integra
Did you see the 944 race car? It was his first time out in the car - just bought it, and lost it going up the hill towards Druids. Some nasty front end damage - hope he gets it fixed OK - it was a nice car. Apparently he'd been told that the michelin cups were fine to run in the wet....and found out the hard way.
