I have a tired E30 325i (manual 2 door) that needs some work, I am tempted to scrap it, do you think I will get much for it, or am I better off trying to sell as a project for somebody?

I dont want much for it, but it would be a shame to scrap as the engine is great, somebody with a ounce of spanner sense would be able to fix her up. ( engine mounts need doing, as do the brake pads & power steering belt) ....

What's the chassis/suspension like? Current MOT? Much rust?

Probably worth more than you might think as a project to someone...

has 6 months MOT, & tax to september. Suspension is ok, has lowered stiffer springs & 16 cross spoke ( original I think ) wheels. There is a bit of rust here and there but it had no dramas for the MOT. I should add that the body work is pretty tatty, but for thrashing round tracks, who cares?

I've done 4 trackdays so far, it has surprised me in terms of how fast and mainly, how much fun you can have for less than a grand...

Don't scrap it. Someone will want it.

Try the E30 Zone.
