Just wondering if anyone here was at Snetterton trackday on Sunday 26/07/09?

Was my first track day and had a good time. Got some pics I will be uploading if anyone was there might have some of your car.

Here is a Video of one of the sessions, unfortunatley my camera ended up pointing up at the roof in most of the other sessions lol

Welcome to trackdaying my friend.

Straight into the most frustrating element of trackdays.

Question 1) - Did the TDO go in to details about when a car should give consent for a lower powered, faster cornering car to pass?

I guess the answer is yes....

Question 2) - Did the Jag driver make it that briefing??

Oh well, at least you came across that in your first trackday. That's as bad as it gets. All good from here on in!!

Hi, Yes they did explain you should lift off to let less powerfull cars that are lapping faster past.

Unfortunatly the Jag driver held me and other people up on several sessions including the end of the previous session before that video. Apart from the Jag and one other car everyone else was quite good about letting cars through.

Still had a great time, met some friendly people, after few little upgrades I will think about what track to do next

Nice videos... I was with the chap in the R400 (4 mins ish on the second video) There was quite a few people that must of skipped the briefing.

Im yet to do my first track day. Just trying to find some track day insurance.

It was the same when I went the day before. Some sort of Caterham driving experience day with instructors waving me by, but the drivers not lifting off.

Most frustrating, and the only time I've ever needed to moan to the organisers.
