With all the trackdays you've been to Matt, albeit it as photographer, observer, passenger, etc, I would have thought you would have known by now that less is more....so get rid of the other 15 stickers as they just add weight and will slow you down. biglaugh

Enjoy yourself thumbup

See if you can unbolt the back seat, pass seat, and remove as much of the interior as you dare so you can put it back in afterwards!

Remember, understeer in a front wheel drive car means you should back off the gas.

Oversteer a front wheel drive car and all you can do is floor it.

Try not to do too much of either.

I'm in work then so can't pop along and photograph you hehe

Anyone else?? SHould be a great day as it is ran by MSV. MSV days usually are the best ran smile

You can do a taster session or an AM or PM to if you dont want to do a full day!! Plus the sesions are spilt into 20 min bloacks so it easy on your cars. Oh and the MSV instrucers will be on hand to share some of there vast knowledge with you wink

Anything from a full on FIA spec helmet to a motorcycle one. Just remember that you only have one head though. So do not use a helmet that is falling apart!

Me and my dad will be there on our first trackday...

We're doing the Taster Session in the afternoon as it was super cheap and neither of us needed to use a holiday up from work!!! wink We've both driven Oulton before in the Clio 197 and Formula Brands cars, but this will be the first time we've taken our own cars on track. I'll be in the (far from standard) '01 Seicento Sporting and my dad will be in his '07 Impreza WRX. I'll be getting there early afternoon though, so I'll look out for the Corsa and the Mk.3 Golf. smile Feel free to come and say hello if you see us loitering about waiting for the start of our session!!!

If you see me first, make sure to say hi smile

Anyway, the car prep is well underway. New brkae pads are now on and working.

Next jobs include the backseats, parcel shelf, boot carpet, airfresher, pastie wraps, empty pop cans, floor mats to all be removed to save wait biggrin Then I will take tyhe spare wheel out when I get to Oulton for obvious reasons!

Jobs at the circuit include (hopefuly) door numbers, tape over the head lights (race car stylee) and tow stickers hehe

Wished I had planned ahead on got my name stickerd up so I could put them in the windows hehe

i know most of this wont do anything at all but it is all for a laugh!

Hi Matt

If I'm in the area on Wednesday I'll pop in and say hello.

I still remember my first time on track even though it was over 20 years ago whistle

I'm off work this week so might pop down for the evening taster session if it's dry as I'd like to try out my slicks.

Blimey 25 quid for 20 minutes track time! Hope you don't get the session cut short by a red flag!
