Some slick tyre help required please (ref sizing)

I think you would be best to get the spec for that tyre from the manufacturer/supplier and find out what size rim it needs.
I think it's common for slick tyres to be described in terms of the tread width whereas road tyres are typically measured at the widest point of the sidewall, hence slicks are typically about the same nominal size as the rim whereas road tyres typically are nominally wider than the rim. Sobased on that I would suspect that those slicks need a wider rim than you have. But I could be completely wrong, so I suggest you find out from the supplier / manufacturer to get a reliable answer. If you're new to slicks you should look for advice on tyre pressure and suspension geometry too because slicks often have characteristics that are completely different to road tyres and are sometimes quite fuzzy about pressure.
