I have been to the NS a few times for a week at a time, and also a couple of visits for track days at Spa,but am picking up a new car in Germany next summer and wondered if there are organizations who organize track days, and what qualifications are required?. (I have crash helmet etc, but car is standard 997 GT3RS.2, no roll cage or fie extinguisher etc). I had no problem at Spa in 2008 with my RS.1 which was similarly equipped. I have to run the car in anyway, so would be nice to have the experience of trackdays or a good school there.

Suppose I could paint the thing red and put some prancing horses on it and they might not noticesmile.

Try www.europeanspeedclub.de or www.pistenclub.de for German and south Europe track days. I can highly recommend them. Your car will be fine as it is, Crash helmets are mandatory.

Have a look here - http://www.monzanet.it/eng/eventi_mese.aspx?MeseCa... - you can see who had track days there this year at least so can contact them for next year.

I used europeanspeedclub recently, and at Monza. A good day. Two accidents, both 911's trying to keep up with the Lambos and putting it into the wall on the exit of the final chicane wink
