If I was slipping over there for a couple of days in early October any recommendations as to where to stay?

Don't mind cheap and cheerful as long as there is somewhere to park/get grub/drink beer.

I will be on my lonesome unless someone is looking to share. I am mostly housetrained

Thanks

We, and quite a few others stayed here end of June: http://www.hotels.be/hotel/best-western-l-auberge-... reasonable rates, bars and places to eat nearby and take your swimmers as the recently opened spa complex is just across the road.

Hotel Beau Site.

Have the Wild Boar for dinner. You have to order it to the tune of Duran Duran's Wild Boys. Fact.

We stayed at the Best Western in 2007 on a Ring/Spa trip. No problems really, althought we ate at a different restaurant across the way that did fanastic pizzas. Quite a few places to eat and drink, nice spa town obviously. Take a brolly, cause when it rains it RAINS!!!!!!! frequently. Have fun.

Thanks for those replies. Alas my plans may have just become a bit more elastic in the last few days but I hope I might see some of you there
