Haven't booked with these guys before, so interested to know about how well the days are run, what the etiquette is like, etc.

Any other thoughts/observations welcome.

Many thanks

They're the main TDO I use and I have used most.

They're well run and generally have a good standard of driving. They tend to have quite a following so you'll see lots of the same cars at their events, which I'd say makes for better driving standards.

Been on one track day with them, Anglesey, about a month ago.

I would only book on one of their dates again if I couldn’t find an alternative.

Probably the busiest track day I have ever been on, far too many cars at the day. Consequently, had to queued for ages to get out on track and once out, far too many cars on track together. So I found I was nearly always either coming up on a bunch of cars, or backing off for a bit to gel myself into a clear bit of track.

Standard of driving on the day wasn’t great either. Probably as a result of frustration.

This was the first time I have been to Anglesey as well, so some of the issues may be specific to this circuit. But don’t know why this would be.

i have used CD loads and found Chris to be one of the only TD organisers (other than Dave of Opentrack) who is not a meglamaniac and you can converse with without either being thumped, ignored or being talked down to.

CD do have sometimes more than some others on a session or opl day as they do keep their prices sharpbut i have never queued with them.

Go for it. Free instruction, free passengers and nice people

I think CD try to get the balance between the right price and the right numbers, you may see the occasional queue but mostly it is pretty short and their prices are generally reasonable. As said above, Chris is a good guy who you can always talk to if you do have a question or a problem.
