Anyone visited the Ring Werk ?
Discussion
Going out to the ring this weekend and for the first time ever the OH and future ringmeisters are coming with.
So... I fully expect OH to bored s
tless and make me remember the fact that I dragged her to out to some godforsaken place in the wilderness for the rest of my life but, i'd like the little uns to have a bit of fun.
They're 8 and 6 and the eldest likes her roller coasters so I 'might' be ok there... but looking at the RingWek stuff on the website it could be a good thing or it could be a complete rip off and a load of old w
k.
Has anyone been on it? Whats it like? Costs? etc..
Thanks

There are some bits to look round at the GP circuit but it is all car related and at the end of the day if someone is not into cars they won't enjoy it. It is not quite finished yet either, alot of the shops etc are open but it has a very plaster feel about it. It will be great when it is finished though.
about 25 min drive awya there is a family place with a mega tin toboggan ride which is a couple of euros for a load of goes. about ten of us hit it up last year and found it scarier than the ring at times (Its a kids ride but two up is just silly being adults)
looks like it was a good place to take kids with various playground style rides, hen,s ducks, donkeys etc

I think I could really injure some people on Klotti's bouncy pillow. It's a really good day out and refreshing lacks all the PC s
te you get most places.Well... we had a top time, didnt go to anywhere outside of the track.
Spent ages running around the castle with the kids and generally milled about the place.
Good news is that the OH loved it ( apart from the drive out/back ) so future passes out are safe and she'll come along for some trips too so the suggestions taht you guys made won't be wasted.

Also you could send them to Trier - nice place, alough may not be too much to do.
