Hello everyone,

Some of you may have stumbled across posts when I was V6ter. Anyway as part of the web site I have added a Resources page showing all UK Race circuits as Aerial Photos.

Some might ask why? - well for all those people who go on track it can be a useful tool to see the layout of the circuit before racing or tracking the car.

I plan to add videos of each circuit in the future as a guide of how to drive them - so its worth bookmarking/making it a favourite if this is your sort of thing!

Anyway check it out here:

http://www.torqueracing.com/guide.php

Feel free to take a look through the whole site it may interest those who Race or want to race - feel free to become a member and/or bookmark the resources page.

Enjoy

Paul

I clicked on the first link - for Anglesey.

It's the old Anglesey - the originaly layout. Doesn't have the new circuit layouts. How old are the maps? That must be about 2 years out of date.

For Spa you just get a blurry image which is greyed out as soon as you try to zoom frown

Google map satelite view is very good, BUT it can be ridiculously out of date / incomplete. Don't think you can even see any Anglesey track there.

Sorry Peter, but it's a transparent attempt to channel people onto your site rather than a genuinely useful resource. Links to Bing maps don't really give much more than a user could achieve with a search in Google.

Please change your name back too. PH rules dictate that usernames shouldn't be used to promote websites.

Ted,

I am dissapointed with your response. I have not posted this for the reasons mentioned above, it is a genuine resource albeit some of the photos/images are out of date.

For Track goers such as myself - they can be useful and if not useful certainly interesting. I have PM'd you regarding the other matter.

Just viewed the in car footage around donington (test day). Two points i guess, firstly, as a guide to the circuit you can only see the sky and the dash for the majority of the lap and so I'm not sure how its suppsed to help someone learn the way around this quite technical circuit. Second point is, feeding the wheel through your hands, albeit a small amount is a bit of a no no, i'm sure you'll remember this from doing your ARDS test. Finally upon first reading this post it does seem like a bit of a plug for your site especially having made the same post in the midlands section as well. Good luck with the racing

Hi thanks for the comments, completely agree about the sky although this isnt one of the track guides its just a video uploaded. The on track guides will be done gradually and will have a good view smile

Feeding wheel through hands- a bad habit which I must overcome, yes was reminded during my ARDS but I dont pretend to be a professional we are all learning.

Re:Plug- as answered before.No. It was posted on the Midlands section for my fellow Staffs/Shrops Pistonheads to see.

Thanks for the best wishes with Racing, looking forward to it.
