Hi guys.

I need a couple of tow eyes for the 944 track project, I know the rules have required these things to be bigger and bigger of late - so where do I find a pair to bolt straight into the holes on my 944???

Thanks in advance!

Anyone know what 'guage' thread or whatever I should be getting. Im assuming all cars dont have the same size hole in which to place these things?

Do people use the screw in ones now, or is it the norm to mount to the chassis instead.

Im just after the screw in fellas (if available) to stick straight into the tow eye holes on the car. Or will I have to get the drill out and scuff my knuckles to get something up to the job?

I thought for trackdays the standard manufacturers one's were fine.

You might be surprised to know that just about the cheapest place for the normal screw-in ones is from your local Porsche centre. Cost me about £12 for the 964 IIRC.

I'll look into this then (although not sure where a local Porsche dealership is), I was thinking they'd need to be larger than the standard size.

Okay - thanks chaps, I'll have an ask about and see what i can come up with!

Give chris at Exeter OPC a call. just get it posted out.

The standard Porsche to hook is BIG enough ( watch your shins as you walk around the car in the pits )
