Oh yes, how we all laugh at other people innocently crashing their cars. One day it could be you, so don't expect any sympathy from the internet when it happens.

its not that fact that he span off.. we've all done that before

so its not poking fun or ripping someone's driving

it's the accidental mix of commentary that just turns it into a comedy moment

the video timing is also spot on

That is funny...even after spinning through a total lack of concentration that is dangerous to others, he still critiscises.

"Is this Druids corner?"

"Yes, I know about these things, it's called a double apex, if you tighten the wheel towards the second kerb you will probably spin as you go over the slight rise on the exit............. aaaaaaaaaaaagggggggghhhhhhhhh"

If he'd wound the lock off straight and taken his foot off the brakes just to get teh car on a different line he'd not have touched the barrier either. as it was it was only a gentle nudge, and as others have said let he who is without track day sin cast the first stone smile

on another note : does anyone else think he sounds just like tim harvey ?

It's most often the slight rise that gets them.

I understand the first stone comment, anyone who hasn't lobbed it somewhere is either slow or just hasn't done enough laps yet but the commentary on the video does make it extra-funny biggrin.

The other thing with Druids is that the corner carries on turning over the rise, so if you exit at the start of the kerb (as he did) you run out of tarmac very quickly.

cant view at work but will have a gander later

cracking corner is druids, although, thankfully, ive only ever done it in the dry! its very satisfying when you get it right, but its a lot easier to get it very wrong!
