Where to buy a lid in Sussex or Kent

Wanting to buy a decent helmet that fits properly... any recommendations of shops / stockists with a reasonable range for me to try in East Sussex or Kent?

Do you need a motorsport helmet or just a motorbike?
Motorbike helmets are fairly straight forward, large store in Crawley (PMH I think) or any other large motorbike store Hein Gericke are pretty good if there's a local one.
If you need a motorsport helmet, worth going to GPR at Silverstone if you're ever passing that way. I'd be reluctant to spend £400 (ish) on something I haven't tried on.

Sorry, should have been clearer... yes a motorsport (car) helmet for track days. I've got a basic bike helmet I've used in the car before but want to get something a bit better.
