GoPro Hero wide

Very good for an all in one unit. I've seen some footage taken in the wet at Anglesey, it was very clear and the wide angle view worked well.
Been meaning to get one myself, I almost ordered from the states on the link you have posted but the carriage added a stupid amount onto the price - still a cheap way of doing it really though compared to bullet cams etc.
One thing to watch for is that they apparently get through batteries so a set of rechargables is advised.

I have one of these and it's very good for what you pay. I've done a few trackdays with it. I had one mount down low, just in front of the grill of my Elise and the footage from it is really cool

...I think because it's early in the morning and I should be in bed cos I only finished work an hour and a half ago and I'm beginning to hallucinate because of lack of sleep, that I shall tell a story about the camera
I did a friend a favour during the summer, his son was turning 13 and earlier in the year he spotted my car in Cork and took a photo of it on his mobile phone and ,ade it his screensaver on his PC at home. His saw me and the car outside the pub my brother works in and told me about his son having the photo, same numberplate, my car
He asked me if I'd come down on his birthday and take him for a spin with the roof off, I was delighted to. Mike said, "Hag, you're the man" and this became a bit of an in-joke between the parents. They started saying to the kid, "Sam, Hag's the man", and he didn't have a clue what they were on about, even the grandparents got in on the joke, and when they were leaving they said their goodbyes and just as they were walking out the door, the grandfather called back, "Sam, Hag is the man." It drove the kid bonkers for weeks
Anyway, the day came and Sam got home from school and then I got the call to come down. I pulled in off the road and followed a narrow path to the driveway of the house and I could hear the stomping of 13 year old feet coming full pelt up a gravel path from the other side of a thick hedge, he still hadn't seen the car and didn't know what was about to hit him. He skidded to a halt in front of the car and I actually thought he was going to faint, he went white as a ghost and couldn't talk fro a bit, he eventually said, "Ssss-itsalotussss". This was my cue to open the door and get out of the car, I walked over to Sam and Said, "Happy birthday Sam, I'm Hag, I'm the man" at which point he started laughing, he got it
After that I mounted the camera inside the windscreen facing back at us and the wide angle is excellent, both of us clearly visible, but more pointing at the passenger seat. So in we got, I set up the camera and stated recording heading on down the road to a nice twisty stretch that I know well not far form where we were. I gave him the drive of his life, I was keeping well within the limits of the car and myself and the roads were bone dry, I gave Edwina(that's the Elise;)) a pretty good shakedown and the kid loved every second of it. Then on the return journey I put the camera on the lower mount at the front of the car and gave Edwina another good thrashing back to the house. Afterwards, I went home and uploaded the video to my laptop and it turned out really well, so I went playing with it a bit and mixed road footage with interior footage and all I have to do now is find a piece of music for it.
I haven't uploaded any of the vids yet cos I'm on bogband
