I saw you there but didn't come over as you had lots of people with you and looked busy, I was sharing the Alitalia stickered MR2

You should have come over. The more the merrier.
Was it the red or white mr2.

There where a few people there that didnt want to move to the right and let faster cars through. I got black flagged after sitting behind some nummty who thought that he should indicate left and make you pass on the right. After 4 laps I passed on the right (I know it was wrong) and got black flagged.

It was the white one, I believe the red one run a big end during it's first session on the track and just to confirm it was my mate who put the MR2 in the gravel at Paddock and not mesmile

How come marshalls never seem to use blue flags (ie "you're holding someone up" flag) ?? And if you were behind someone holding you up for 4 laps, surely they should have been black flagged not you??!!

They where using blue flags but this guy thought he had to stay on the left and everyone had to pass on the right. He must have been asleep in the driver talk at the beginning of the day i reckon or he didnt know the diffrence between left and right or he was colour blind and couldnt tell the flags apart.

I was there and the was some low quality driving going on, that's true. I saw the Yellow Fiesta in the gravel twice and I was only there for the afternoon.

I went out for a last run at about 4.40 and managed 1 1/2 warm up laps and then the red flag. Who was in the kitty litter again, yes you guessed it the yellow fiesta. I parked up and called it a day after that.
What was you in Phil.

Phil - if the website in your profile is still a going concern, do you realise your Latest News on the homepage is from 2007?

I was doing the ARDs test so in those Renaults. They're ok but a bit of a change from my normal transport!

Yeah, it was a side project by my other half. Still pulls in a bit of advertising money so it's worth leaving up.

Passed smile 100% on the written which to be honest you'd have to be a brain injured monkey to fail. I thought the test chap said 89% on the driving, but he didn't give me the notes to confirm.

Just got to find a race car now smile

Friday was my first trackday and I had a good time. Overtaking wasn't too bad, there were a couple that didn't know what a mirror was for. I am sure only 30 cars made all the difference, if they had had 60 ( the maximum they will book )I don't think it would have been such a good day. I was in the red 325 trying some new shocks.

Well done Phil. What car are you planning on racing?
I am booking my medical on Monday then the ARDS test and hopfully will be racing early next year.

Andrew,
Saw you going round in the 325 and it didnt look too bad.
Your def right about the number of cars as I think there where only 27 in the morning and a few less in the afternoon.
