A brilliant day at Colerne even though it drissled most of the day.

I was dreading the wet as I have just retro fitted power steering and I thought that there might be a lack of sensitivity, luckily there wasn't and the car felt the best it has ever been, (BRG chim)!

I absolutely loved it in the wet, never thought I would, especially shod with Triple 8's, but they performed faultlessly.

If anyone has any pics of my son's white pug 106 please post or pm me.

He had a great day, wizzing around the bends on 3 wheels on standard 145mm wide tyres, later describing it as the best day in his life!
Ah, It's the simple pleasures in life, eh!

Looking forward to the next wet day, (and dry ones).

Peter.

That 106 was pure comedy - never mind three wheels, it looked like it should be on two through most of the corners!

These guys have got quite a few: http://www.photodirectuk.com/www/galleries/2009100...

Was a fun day smile

It was an excellent day, though i did kill the (freshly built) gearbox in my Renault 5 before lunch frown

luckily home is very close so i took it home and grabbed my daily beater Mk3 golf, which i abused the hell out of all afternoon.
Really really enjoyed it, the mrs enjoyed it to in her mk2 golf it always a good day at colerne.

The 106 was definitely comedy car of the day, he was scraping the door handles on most of the corners, i also saw it on 3 wheels a few times, he definitely gets 10 out of 10 for effort!!
