Hi, I'm a US Airforce fella stationed here in England. I'd very much love to be able to take my car (bmw z4) on the various track days around the UK. However the base doesn't have us get a full UK license. We get a permit that's allows us to legally drive in the UK so long as we have our MIL ID & US license along with it.
So would I be able to attend track events with this set of licenses?
If not would an International license be allowed or will I have to get a UK license?

I'd say check with the trackday operator. I can't see it being a problem. With your paperwork it's clear you're allowed to drive on roads.

But to be sure I'd fire off some e-mails to trackday organisers.
