I'm going with work to a corporate day at Bedford tomorrow, treating some of our customers to a fun day out. I've not done a track day before, it's been a long-held ambition that I've never quite got around to!

So, what can I expect? I don't care if I "win" anything, but would like some tips to at least be respectable. I've done some performance driving at the Mercedes facility in Germany, but nothing flat out on a proper circuit.

All inout gratefully recieved!

One of the Palmer Sport days? You're in for a treat. smile

There isn't really anything you need to know, just listen to the instructor and have fun. They seem to be very enthusiastic there, so they will end up pushing you as far as you can safely go, and you probably will end up going backwards at some stage.

Quite jealous!

if you want to know what to expect try this;

loads of track time
very litle restriction
instructors that will push you if you want it
great cars
and you'll be knackered the day after
