Looking at RAF Odiham on the map looks a little boring, with a long straight and minimal cornering. What is it like in practice to drive?

I've only driven the Prodrive warwickshire track before, and wasnt overly impressed as I prefer twisties rather than spending half the lap just foot to floor and no steering.

You're right; it's not a particularly interesting track & when I was there earlier this year with RMA the front end got absolutely shot-blasted with small stones in the braking zone at the end on the straight.

I won't be going again.

I have to disagree, I did Odiham a couple of months ago and the section after the long straight is an absolute blast in a powerful car, 4 or 5 almost (but not quite) flat corners ending with a 110mph+ right hander folowed by a 50mph chicane. I thoroughly enjoyed it for an airfield but guess it may depend on the car you're taking, I would have thought the F430 and GT3 would be fun there, certainly the 3 GT3 RS I overtook seemed to be enjoying themselves biggrin

Oh and the big attraction for me is its only 20 minutes away so that certainly made the day more enjoyable.
