Guys I need to book a trackday at Cadwell, Mallory or Donnington during the 28th/29th/30th October preferably to do some testing with Cornering Force.

Which one of those tracks would you recommend for a novice and who are the best people to use to book it?

Good luck booking a track day at Donington LOL unless you mean Oct 2011 ...

Cadwell is wonderful but perhaps a bit narrow and little runoff for a novice.

Not done Mallory sorry.

Does it have to be one of those three? Silverstone or Brands would be good for a novice I'd have thought.

I was sure Donnington was out but they suggested it wasn't, looks like it most certainly is!

As mentioned, Donington closed now till Spring 2010 at the earliest. Cadwell not ideal for a first-timer. What about Rockingham? includes turn 4 of the banked oval which must be good for cornering tests surely?

Otherwise Silverstone or Bedford I guess.

It appears I may be able to get a morning slot on a test day at Mallory park, what's that like for a novice?

You'll be fine. Just stick to your line and the faster cars will go past, no probs. Pay attention to your mirrors though and a good old wave to signal other people never did any harm.

Mallory is good for a novice and you can get some good corning force up, especially on Gerrards but is it a trackday or a testday that you are after?
