For those not aware, in Sept this year a group known as 'The Quiet Ones' who are folk living near to the circuit who object to the disruption and noise caused by the circuits present operation managed to get the operating license withdrawn till 2026!! I kid you not, 17 years!
Luckily that was overturned and now the fight is on between the two sides, anybody who wishes to support the circuit (please do) should go to www.defendonsfrancorchamps.be where you can register your support electronically, its fairly simple although some of the translation is suspect!

Done. What a load of numpties - up until that point I'd liked everyone I've encountered from Belgium.

If we (car lovers / racers) were an ethnic minority then this would be classed as racial hatred. Seeing as we are not and it involves petrol and cars it appears that anyone can have a go at us.

Personally I am utterly fed up with the attitude from people who seem to be able to complain and get there way over something that has been happening for years. Already signed up to the petition.

Ding of the day! The best fun i've ever had on-track was at Spa in the wet (in a Caterham!). Got sopping wet through to the core, but was giggling like a baby the whole way round the circuit.

Isnt this really all about money? I believe that the Grand Prix is bancrutping the region/district/state/prefecture or whatever it is called, so the political will to re-open isnt going to be there.
