track day (single seater?) for £150 - £200

I'm guessing this has been asked a thousand times before, but what's the best value track day (car included) for a mate's birthday. budget 150ish (could go higher if much better value). most seem to be about 10 mions for 150 quid which seems a bit steep for next to nothing....

SO suggesteions for BEST VALUE @ 150ish??

I did the Palmer day (the whole day) last Friday. Was absolutely fantastic. It helped I won a few of the competitins, but was SO well run and such great tuition and fun. Fortunately I didn't have to pay though. The half day is out of the price range for this (though I will be doing it myself soon with a few mates I hope)

The other looks more promiosing thanks. Though it still seems a bit short for the cash...

Get 3 or 4 of you to share one of the BaTcats from bookatrack.com - you get to use the car all day and have instructor options for that kind of money. You also all will get much, much more track time

If you want a single seater experience try the MSV one at Oulton or Brands, 15 minute session in a V8 M3 with instructor and then 15 minute session in a single seater, I think it's in your price range........
