Just booked myself onto my first track day in the Clio 200 at Bedford on the 7th December.
Anyone else on here going?

Don't they lay out different circuits there, if so what is this one?

I might be there. Got a trackday booked at Abingdon this Friday, so assuming I don't break anything, my intention is too book this one. I'll be in a black MR2 Turbo if I do with trackdayforums.com stickers on it smile

Easytrack website has been down for a few days, and there's no answer on their number +44 (0)7800 738413.

Everything ok with Easytrack?

Had fun today but it was incredibly wet and circuit condition were seriously treacherous. Real mix of machines but everyone was pretty well behaved and there was surprisingly few incidents given the conditions. Last time out for 2009...roll on 2010 smile

Agreed, was great fun and everyone was very well behaved from what I saw... the Blue BMW e30 seemed to have more than his fair share of "incidents" though :-)

Your Exige looked great fun (and sounded great), as did Git_r's R32... was there in our 968 Club sport as our proper track e30 was found to have cracked wilwood disk too late to sort it before today..

Highlight for me was getting a passenger lap in the R35 GTR.. unbelievable car !

Fancied a go in Git-Rs too as it looked really quick (and sideways !), but never found him in pits when I was there... was wishing I'd taken my R33 GTR instead of CLub Sport :-(

Despite the rain, which added some "fun", I thought it was a great day, with few red flags...

Cheers Paul - liked the look of your 968CS too, always had a bit of a soft spot for them. IIRC you had quite a spectacular spin by the pitwall?? Yup the Exige was going well today,...well sideways wink

Surprise of the day for me was the pace of the Megane...mega.

I saw the blue E30 in the middle of the circuit when I left and the couple of times I met it on circuit it was going seriously slow...like broken slow.

I had a great day in my under powered Corsa, first time I've been there and was quite impressed.

The track was very slippery but it added to the fun.

Had a great first trackday in my 205 gti yesterday, had fun in the wet, R888's held on very well considering how wet it it did get, had one big moment geting my entry speed way too fast into the chicane at the end of the back straight and went sideways across the grass for about 150ft, soon got it right after that!
Many good cars and nice bunch of drivers on track made the day a good one!
However on the drive home had the car written off by a Spanish truck driver who decided to turn into my lane on the M25 at junc 22! Knocked the car into a spin and hit it again as I spun out of control, after police and ambulance arrived, found that he didn't have one of those down facing blind spot mirrors fitted to the truck, so he didn't even see me when he turned into the car!
Got it home late last night, but I think it's game over for it!
Totally gutted!!!
