Car Limits Activity Day
Discussion
I found this link whilst looking for something else, £49 for a day of driving on an airfield, which from what I can gather looks like it might be good fun.

Has anybody done one of these before? What should I expect if I were to head along to it this weekend?

Hi,
It's good fun and good value - less track time than a track day, but a lot less money.
All the exercises are one car on the track at a time, but in the afternoon they run a couple of different layouts simultaneously. Andy Walsh gives some thought provoking pointers in the morning session on the high speed bend and the afternoon is more like an (ahem) untimed sprint, with circuits laid out around cones. What I found was everyone dissapeared to the main circuit and the smaller twistier one was all but desserted, leaving a couple of us to go up and down virtually uninterupted.
Posted some ramblings about it on my blog: http://chriscarblog.blogspot.com/2009/02/going-diz...
