Help needed to pick the right experience day company, please
Discussion
Hi people,
Right i'm a little confused (doesn't take alot!!). I going to be buying my boyfriend an experience day for Christmas but as there are so many different companies out there i'm not sure who to go with. I have seen a number of different reviews and just dont want to him to end up with something crap so any help would be greatly appreciated;-).
I'm looking to spend around 200 and I think he would like a Lambo or Ferrari or both if possible.Location isn't a problem. Thanks in advance for your helpxx

I'd highly recommend this http://www.silverstone.co.uk/experiences/driving-d...
Did one in February and had loads of fun - quite cool the fact that it's at Silverstone too (though on the lesser-known 'Stowe' circuit).
The full 'experience' is currently on offer at £125 - and it's one of the best time-in-car/price ratios you can get on these experience days.

Club MSV run various driving experiences from off-roading to single seaters at a few tracks around England.
From expereince, their days are very well run with excellent instructors and a decent amount of time in the car.

MSV do give a decent amount of seat time but not in supercars, although the new M3s are pretty quick! It's also on proper race tracks, if it's a one-off experience I think it adds something to drive on a circuit that's one as he'll see on TV with BTCC/superbikes etc.
Alternatively you could try Driversdreamdays; they run at a few venues but I'd recommend Bruntingthorpe, not a proper race circuit but lots of space and the chance to drive at 150mph

I thought Croft was OK (friendly staff, easy going instructors) but I have never been to another circuits so can't compare with anything else. Also Croft let you use Tesco Clubcard vouchers (you have to send for these from Tesco) which meant a £180 experience cost me £40 in vouchers and I paid the rest by CC.
Thanks for all your replies its a great help.Kaese i've just read the link and have also looked at the everyman site which is also good. Everyman's prices are a little higher but i'm a little worried of the old saying 'you get what you pay for' so should i go with the slightly more expensive one????
