How many trackdays a year?

Does anybody have an idea/figure of how many trackdays there are run in the UK a year? Trying to do a bit of market research for a new product - I've seen a figure of 600 on the web from last year, anybody know better?

I would have thought the ATDO would be a good place to start but their website is looking a little nonexistant at the moment, and going through every organiser's and owners club site is hard work. Thanks for any help!!!

around 650

you can check by going onto www.openpitlane.co.uk and count the UK ones in 2009 - not many missing if any, just a few european ones to take off

there were 730ish listed for 2009 overall
