Hi Guys,

I have booked a couple of places on the 24th Jan Event at Mallory Park with focused events.

However I am having a few problems, and wondered if I not booked correctly via the web site.

I registered on the Focused Events web site, as I had not used them before, and got a confirmation email that my account had been created.

Then I booked two places for the above event, and got a confirmation email for both the bookings.

However the website was not updated, and the spaces remained as still available, and no booking showed up in my account area.

Its now been over a week since I made the booking, and I still have not had the second confirmation email, I have called the office of FE, but only get an answerphone, so I have left a message, as well as sending status email requests too.

Anyone else had problems with your bookings with Focused Events recently?

Guys,

Just an update on this, I had a very helpful call from Focused Events today.

They have had a problem due to the snow, and have not been able to get to the office.

So its all going ahead for the event on the 24th at Mallory Park.

Just hope that the weather gets better for the event!!

Finally got the second confirmation email for our bookings for the 24th at Mallory Park today.

However when I look at my account on the Focused Events Web Site, under my bookings, it still does not show up with any bookings.

Is this normal, IE do they update this separately and after the booking have been finalized?

Thanks just wanted to know how it worked with the Focused Events web site.

I wouldn't worry about it as long as you've got a confirmation email.

I've done track days with them and they always seem a little slow at updating the website and confirming things. Never had a problem on the day though.

Thanks for the posting!!

I was not worried, just wanted to make sure that it was the norm for Focused Events.

I guess everyone has had delays due to the weather recently!!
