Race Tracks/Track Days North West England..

I'm not really familar with the tracks in the UK.. But are there any big track days held up around Liverpool? I'm going next year for University, and i'm just wondering if there would be anywhere to go to. Even in Scotland etc..

The big ones seem to be down by London..

Liverpool to Scotland is still some trek.....you need to look no further than Oulton Park which is practically next door to Liverpool.

.....and rather fortunately for the OP, is one of the best tracks in the country. Which is nice

Theres a couple every year at Aintree in Liverpool too.
Organised by Liverpool Motor Club.
Yes the grand national course perimeter - was a world class facility pre 1960's!

Ah, I didn't realise Oulton Park was only an hour from Liverpool..

..Definately gonna have to go over and visit my Brother sometime soon..

Does Oulton Park do any good experience/track days.. My brother has some parking beside his house, would be a bit of a hastle to bring my car over.

I'll have to do it during the summer!

Oulton Park is a cracking circuit! I did a trackday there today and loved every minute

The MSV run trackdays are usually nice and quite so you get plenty of tracktime etc. They also do driving expeirences in BMW M3's and Single Seaters on the main circuit. They also do a rally expeierence on the rally stage that they have, as well as Drifting in your own car! Another expeierence they have is one in a Land Rover where you drive off road if you fancy that sort of thing

oh yes. oulton is a must. its the only track i have driven but its immense. slowly mastering it and after watching many races there im so in awe of it every time i drive there.
